Glen Rice Arrested for beating cheating Wife's playdate

Former Miami Heat star Glen Rice was charged this afternoon with felony battery after Miami-Dade police said he beat a man he found hiding in his estranged wife's bedroom closet.
Things could not get worse for the Heat.. He was a lock for coming back to insure the lottery

As someone else said correctly, Rice did nothing wrong in my book, as I would have done the same thing. If I go to my wife's house and there is a guy hiding in the closet, I am going to assume that it is a robber (especiallly after the Sean Taylor tragedy and take him out asap.

I'd kick a guys ass if I found him in my wife's closet too. Poor G-Money, the Heat 20th anniversary thing is next week and all the Heat legends are supposed to be there.

Uhh..ok..so you go home after a long day's work to your wife expecting to have a dinner together, only to find some naked dude banging your wife in the closet..back in the day people would shoot both the guy and the wife and get away with reason of insanity. In other countries the cheating wife and man are put to death.
So let me get this straight..if you go home and your wife is getting plowed by some dude, if you smack them both up YOU'RE the one put to jail?

The article says they were separated so I don't know why Glen was surprised that she was getting her groove on with somebody else. And it occurred at her house too. When keepin' it real goes wrong, Glen.

I know their family, and I feel bad for the kids.
and although Rice didn't need to assault the guy, the guy who broke up their marriage was still at 'his' house, in the bedroom, while he was picking up his kids there.

Is it really a crime to beat up a guy who your wife was cheating with? I mean I could understand if the guy thought she was single, but the guy was hiding in the closet, you don't hide in the closet if you think the woman is single.
And seriously, back in the good ol' days, a woman was ostracized from the rest of the community for doing something like that, now she gets half a man's stuff.
One last random rant: We need legislation that makes it so that a bitch can't take half a man's stuff after getting a divorce unless a prenup is signed granting half. I just read an article saying that more and more women are marrying for money and 71% of women in their 20's who marry for money are not expecting to live the rest of their life with their husband. That's just wrong. And don't get me wrong ladies, it's not only wrong if a woman does it to a man, it's wrong if a man does it to a woman too. I don't hate!

This is funny. I saw Glenn the night of the Mavs game at Keg South sitting right behind our table with an unattractive young black woman. When he got up I noticed how huge he was, and that he was wearing a fanny pack. As soon as I heard about this assault I wondered if he was wearing said fanny pack at the time.

Man she helped get Glen out of LA with her bitching about his role, but she couldn't help the man out the closet what's up with that !

Tis is not the same girl he was with when he was on the lakers right?? if i remmber correctly the other girl was blck.... anyways... Separated doesnt means divorced, She was still cheating... The dude prob was the one that got them separated, so he deserved everything he got.... if he was hiding in the closet it was for a reason....
ps. Why do they always hide in the closet??? LOL!!
