Going to miss the Big Fella. But this is simply the best for both parties...

Have to wonder if there is any ill will...I would think not, right? Simply just business.

I'm going to miss Shaq. Its a shame that the Heat weren't able to get the pieces necessary to surround Wade and Shaq. The best of luck in Phoenix and despite the uniform change you'll always be a Heater for life.

I feel the same way. I wanted Shaq to be traded and constantly blamed him for his lowered level of productivity, but now that a trade is actually going down I feel sad. Looking at those 2006 pictures brought back happy memories.

:banghead: you all suck! I bet you were throwing stones at Shula on your way out. Don't know how to appreciate a legend when he's in your presence. Oh well. Good luck Shaq, I never wanted you gone. I'll root for you where ever you go :nonono:

That explains why the arena is often empty these days.

If this trade does go down, I hope Shaq wins a ring in Phoenix and I'll be watching him on my NBA League Pass. Go Shaq!

Um, I agree with the first part.

However, you're overdoing it quite a bit. I was never a fan of Shaquille O'Neal. I think he's cool and all, but I only supported him because he was a member of this franchise. Once he's gone, although the memory and thanks will always be there for 2005-2006, he's just a regular guy to me. I was always a Kobe Bryant supporter. Sorry, Shaq.

You wouldn't feel disrespected if he's "rejuvenated" in Phoenix? Hmm, I sure would. That would make him a bandwagon player. Only gives his all when he's on a good enough team. Randy Moss anyone? (except at this stage, Moss is still the best)
