...because I saw a short interview of Wade in the locker room on ESPN this morning and he sounded and looked PISSED!
Shaq was his mentor, his friend and Riley just traded him away and it seems like he didn't approve it.
Riley better get some serious talent around him or he will bolt for Chicago. Stephen A. Smith is already speculating that.

Stephen A Smith needs to speculate where his mouth and behind is, and find a way to put the two together, and in a hurry.

Charles Oakley was also a close friend to Michael Jordan, when he was traded for Bill Cartwright Jordan was pissed beyond all recognition. Couple of years had to pass before Jordan understood that this move had to be made so Chicago could seize the NBA throne.

Oh please. Pure speculation and bull. Here comes the Kobe Bryant after Shaq story in Miami now. Now Wade is going to leave us for Chicago just like Bryant did huh?
Dwyane Wade has played how many games with Shaq this season? I DOUBT that Wade is pissed because of the trade, Shaq pretty much sold out Wade with this injury that was reported as legit to "not so serious". Wade's knee and shoulder, now that was serious. Him not at 100%, that's serious. Has he been not been playing it, giving it his best trying to carry this team to win? Uh yes, even with his limitations.
Jesus the fact that we can still be competitive against teams like Detroit last night, San Antonio a couple games ago, and etc just tells you that we're not that far off, just a player [like a Marion] and perhaps a PG away from getting back to winning and consistency. We already have our superstar, now we need the right pieces around him.
You know what, I think Marion is dead on. People are underrating this guy way too much around the league. Watch for Wade and Marion to play extremely well together. It just seems like a perfect fit for both of them the more I think about it.
And I hope it happens. **** the draft. We need to shut some lips already.

I have serious doubts that Pat Riley didn't consult with Dwyane Wade before moving Shaq. I highly, highly doubt that, especially knowing that Wade's future with the team depends heavily on who Riley places around him. I'm sure he OK'ed it in some sense, whether he completely wanted it or not. I'm sure he at least understood the move from the perspective of the future plan, which is to rebuild the team around him.

I dont even know if that chicago situation would be even good for wade. True he is from there, but they have no coach, gordon and deng didnt get contract extensions, their front office failed to pull the trigger on huge deals that wouldve made them even better. I think riley has already shown that he is going to build the team around wade. (yet my sig shows him wearing a jordany jersey lol)

Yes I agree, the fans around the league are saying that he is a product of Nash, I think Shawn knows about this opinion , and he will try to show that he is an All-Star because of his talent alone.

Its great to put a spin on marion but lets be honest hes a sf, not a post player which we desperately need not to mention hes 6'7 with shoes.

Wtf, you're making this assumption off him not looking happy in the locker room? The Heat are 9-38 and just choked another game last night, obviously he's no tin a very goo dmood.

orally?
Dwyane is shocked, naturally, and upset because Shaq is his friend. He said he's like family. So it is sad to see him go. But Ethan has been blogging about a latent hostility because it seems DWade was pissed he was doing all the heavy lifting this season and Shaq was on another injury vacation, and since there is no other talent on the team, it has taken a real physical and emotiuonal toll on him.
Ethan also speculates that Wade is more of a Riley-Zo guy, wanting to work and lead that way, and it has been hard because Shaq is the opposite and a Svengali in the locker room when it comes to working hard when it "doesn't matter."
I was pretty sure aftyer ASB Wade would shut down because hsi sposnor commitments are over then, but now with Marion, he will be pumped and want to see how they play together.
To me, Marion will be the better Caron.

Wade spoke with Tony and Eric BEFORE the detroit game and he said all the right things: this is best for both teams, I love Shaq as friend and wish him the best, it's time to move on, and that he's excited to build for the future.
On film, I'm sure Wade made the effort to seem like he actually misses the guy, which I'm sure he does. But he knows, we know, Pat knows, it was time to move on, and time to rebuild as quickly as possible. It's Wade's team now.

Shaq has lost interest in Miami. The trade was best for him & Miami. Shawn Marion is an early Valentine's gift from Riley to Wade. They should make out instead of arguing.

Question:
Would you please Dwyane to keep him in Miami?

Sounds like he's excited IMO.

Looks like they're getting along and had fun in practice today.
Dwyane was making fun of his shot on WSVN Sports, talking about how it's the ugliest shot he's ever seen, lol.

I'm never negative about players leaving but I've seen Wade bolting for his hometown before all this went down.
Just have that feeling. Hope I'm wrong.

Shaq was not Wade's mentor at all. He was his friend i believe, but they never looked really close on the court and I never saw anything about them being great buddies hanging out off the court either.
Wade was a star before Shaq got here and Wade was our leader to the championship and he was more poised in the playoffs and finals and looked like he had been there more than Shaq ever did in Miami.
Wade doesn't want to act excited as to not disrespect Shaq, but he is glad Shaq was moved for Marion believe me. Shaq was giving no effort this season and that was pissing Wade off, he even mentioned stuff about Shaq in interviews this season about how Shaq had to do more with his touches, etc.
