Wade turns it over in skills challenge

Post#1 » by MiamiHeatFan2004 » Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:08 am

How funny was that, Wade lost the ball against fake defenders in the skills challenge.

He gave up after that and didn't even try.

Doesn't mean anything really as its just for fun, but he was terrible in all phases of the challenge after winning it the last 2 years.

I coulda done better and I'm serious about that lol.

That was SO symbolic of our season so far.

Yea, his season especially leads the league in turnovers.

I still think the 2nd half of the season will be lots of fun though with Wade, Marion, Wright and a quicker pace to our offense.

I hate to say it, but RealGM's general board is the worst on the internet.

I felt that it reflected Wade's view on the season. After that mistake he probably though "fk it nothings going right just end already"

^Whatever man. You have to realize that nobody on the general board thinks rationally, and its full of a bunch of haters looking for any excuse to rag on a player. Just learn to deal with it or just avoid the board.

He was probably embarrassed that he turned it over against a fake defender.

Then instead of just re-gaining composure and hitting the passes and shots, yea he just quit. He still had time to catch up if he woulda tried.

He hasn't been the same physically or mentally this season to me. Needs to fight through bad games and just finish like the old days with composure in crunch time and win games again.

^Man I felt embarrassed watching that turnover take place, and I'm just a fan watching the event on tv.

Well look at how everyone including our board treated Lebron when he couldn't finish games and missed winning shots. He was about 20 years old, but everyone acted liek hes garbage just over that one thing.

We all said how Wade was so much better at finishing games and got to the finals 1st, etc.

Now Lebron is one of the best at the end of games and carried a bad team to the finals.

So you see when any superstar struggles at anything, fans of the other team will come down hard on him. We are homers here so we have sympathy for Wade, well nobody else does or should, because we have none for other players not on the Heat either.

Let em talk, just how Lebron shut people up, Wade will come back and do the same.

They're idiots, and there really shouldn't be a TOS for the general board.

Yes they are idiots and I'm disappointed that the mods aren't doing anything to control the situation, but that's just the way it is.

It's beyond that though, people look to hate on Wade at every single opportunity. It's pathetic.
