Former Heat 10 day contract player K. Powell won the D League MVP award, so congrats to him. Do you guys think that he has a chance to be invited to our training camp next year and of making the club?

So the two players that have ever won the title during a season they wore the Heat jersey are Dwyane Wade and K. Powell...I just got depressed

I say we sign him for the rest of the season so the 10,000 people that go to the games can chant "MVP" "MVP" to DJ Irie's lead...

Dakota Wizards' guard Blake Ahearn has been named the D-League's 2007-08 Rookie of the Year, according to NBA.com.

Ahearn joins Louis Amundson (Colorado, 2006-07), Will Bynum (Roanoke 2005-06), James Thomas (Roanoke 2004-05), Desmond Penigar (Asheville, 2003-04), Devin Brown (Fayetteville, 2002-03), and Fred House (Charleston, 2001-02) as winners of the award.

The sky's the limit.

All jokes aside, Kasib can play. He has an excellent B-Ball IQ, displays great patience on the offensive end (doesn't force anything), good shooter, athletic. Appears to be a pretty sound defender..

Sucks that he got hurt. He'll be back next year IMO. I'm wondering what he'd look like with actual real NBA players out there. Better?
