Stephane Lasme: Future HEAT player?

Post#1 » by Chris Cohan » Sun Apr 13, 2008 11:26 pm

Warriors fan.

I liked Lasme and follow him on the HEAT now with League Pass.

There's a game thread running on the Warrior board for today's HEAT/Cavs game. Stop in if interested.

This poll just aims at a fair sense of the HEAT fanbase's opinion on the kid.

Like him? Worth keeping around for you? Hate him? Etc.

Good to see that no one wants to ditch him.

He and Joel Anthony (similar prospect with similar potential) have replaced Earl Barron and Alexander Johnson as the project big men. They represent everything that the team needs at the PF/C positions in the future, but need to develop offensive games to stick around long-term.

I also think Barron is done. Anthony and Lasme both have a shot with this team, but much depends on their development, Zo's return or not, our draft and whether we can trade Blount.

I see lasme as more of a SF then a PF. Anthony and AJ should battle it out to see who our future project will be. AJ has more offense but Joel has more Defense. I still think AJ is a keeper.

How is Lasme a SF instead of a PF?

he can defend SFs but he doesn't have a small forward's offense
