Wade with NO votes for All-NBA

Dwyane Wade goes from All-NBA Second Team two season ago (with 373 points)
to all-NBA Third Team last year (with 241 points)
to not even getting a SINGLE VOTE this year. Some guards receiving votes are Tony Parker, Michael Redd, Brandon Roy, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Martin.
Granted, the Heat had a miserable season, but before shutting down, Wade was still playing at a high level WHILE dealing with the aftereffects of two surgeries. Apparently sportswriters and broadcasters would rather have the guards above than D-Wade on their team.
I just hope this motivates Wade to come back with a vengeance next year.

He played only 4 fewer games than Yao, who actually made it on one team. I wonder what the cutoff point is...

the cutoff point is that ppl hate wade and want him to fail
honestly, the reason he didnt make it wasnt so much because of missed games as it is the team record itself..which IMO isnt his fault...

not to mention the wealth of talent at guard and dearth of talent at center....

not really, wade could have at least gotten 1 vote but i lost count of how many 2 g's got votes..it isnt dearth of talent, its simply a determination to keep wade out because of team record and finding an excuse to keep him out

I think it's less nefarious than you are making it out to be
more like "out of sight, out of mind"

i highly doubt whoever voted for wade forgot about him during the voting process
either way, i look forward to wade making an all nba team next yr and coming back strong

its about the team record...people were complaining that Ray Allen shouldve been a starter over Wade in the All Star Game because he was a "winner".
Its a non issue, thats just how it is.

Non issue at all and quite frankly, it makes me laugh. Just another thing to add to Wade's motivation to come back stronger than before.

Which of Kobe, Nash, Paul, Williams, Mcgrady and Ginobili could any single voter have legitimately picked Wade over after he played only 51 games for the worst team in the league? I doubt he would have made my All-NBA 5th or 6th team and I'm a Heat homer.
