I find it interesting to think back to when we went down 0-2 against the Mavs and we were "done". I remember, just like LA, us losing the first 2 games ON THE ROAD, yet we got bashed left in right in the media, and even in the forums here how we were "an unworthy opponent", like the famous Dallas newspaper said. Other then Heat fans, we would be lucky to win a game..
Just ironic, since I don't see that happening with LA..
On another note, does Poze bring up when he was down 0-2 in the 06 Finals to keep his team focused?

Difference is Lakers were considered the favorites coming into the series and people still expect them to put up a fight when they come back home. Bostons isn't taking them lightly like the Mavericks did against the Heat.

You think Dallas took us lightly the first 2 games? I agree maybe after game 2, but not going into the finals..

Exactly what I was thinking! Man, brought back memories of that sick comeback we had in game 3 man..wheeew, I'll never forget talking to brother with like 8 mins left saying, "hey, it was a great run" kinda thinking we were about to go down 0-3 and basically lose the finals..
The emotions I went through in that I will never forget man. Coming in with such hope, to get a W, then acceptiing we were losing the game, and the season..then the story book combeack, gave a feeling I cant even describe!

WOW that was a weird game, i almost had a heart attack when the lakers were closed by 2 because as much as i like the heat i also like the celtics. I could see the Lakers climbing back like the heat did in 2006 i hope it doesnt happen but i think it will.

I don't care for either, only because I feel Boston fans have become so cocky with the Sox, Pats and now the rebirth of the Celtics. I have good friends from Boston that just annoy me right now, because they never followed the Cetlics, like they do the Pats/Sox..shoot, I used to tell them what was going on with "their" team. Now everyone is a Celtic fan again..what Bibby said was true, alot of these fans just jumped on this year..
But I do like KG, Peice and our boy Poze, PJ and Eddie..so I am pulling for them
Other then lovin Odom and for what he did for us in that one year in the MIA, I dont care for LA, and dont want to hear about Kobe already have 4 rings, etc

That dive by Posey for the loose ball brought back memories of his clutch plays and hustle. Why did Riley have to get on him about his weight. Overweight or not he had more energy and passion than anyone else on the Heat team.

^ Yup...I loved Pose and what he brought to the Heat, and even before he got here. I feel Poze is finding his niche as a super sub on championship cailber teams..that will become his rep..
He hit so many big shots for us as well, remember the corner 3 with like 3 mins left of game 6 that put us up 6?

I hate the Lakers and all their fans with passion and I hope they get swept.
You know whom the vast majority of fan groups whom were hating on Miami when we won it all, and resorted to the "D-Whistle" monkier outside of salty Mavs fans? Lakers fans.
**** em.

I still dont get the whole D-Whistle thing. I got in an argument with some Laker fans tonight about it.
Wade knows he isnt a great shooter and he doesn't pretend to be one like so many other Super Stars. He attacks the hole relentlessly and when healthy, could get to the rim at will with his package of handles, explosiveness and basketball IQ.
Kobe, Leborn, T-Mac and alot of the other top players dont attack the basket like Wade does when healthy, thus not taking a beating and not getting foul calls.
I remember Wade's three in the corner though in game 3 with around 5-6mins left and the Heat down like 10+. I remember when I saw that, I just felt a comeback, I knew Wade wasn't going down like that.
Also, I love watching the Preview to the Finals where they show all the past champions. Everytime I see Wade and Shaq in the preview, I get pumped up, im not gonna lie.

I really hope the Lakers don't come back but they are in a different position than us, we were big underdogs going in and after the first 2 games no one rightfully gave us a chance... no one could have predicted Wade taking it to the level that he did. And the D-Whistle stuff is dumb to me too. The guy attacked every play (unlike players like kobe who settle for jumpers in these finals), so it's actually a complement to Wade's game. But b/c Mark Cuban and the Mavs were the whiniest team ever ppl remember all the bitchin. I remember they complained forever over this supposed phantom foul lol.

haha Cuban is the biggest whiner in the L. I remember his full on rant about DWade supposedly traveling on his spin move, I hope the Mavs never win anything and fade into the obscurity of averageness.

That's the best pic of that play I've seen yet. It was silly how fans can latch on to stats and try to prove a point when all they had to do was really watch the game and see why Wade was shooting so many FTs. He's unstoppable getting to the basket, somebody had to do something. Unfortunately for the Mavs it ended many times in FTs.
