Wade's Latest Comments while visiting Miami

Guys, I don't know about all of you, but hearing on the radio various quotes from Wade while visiting Miami in the past several days, does not give me comfort in thinking that he wants to stay here long term. Frankly, instead of convincing me that the rumor was totally false, it has had the complete opposite effect in leading me to believe that there might be something to it. If he really wants to opt out in a couple of years and go to Chicago, I don't know if we will ever be in a better position to make a deal with them, so Riley has to seriously consider this option if opting out is a serious probability. Does anyone else feel the same way after hearing his comments?

I'd be a lot more worried of Dwyane wasn't acting like this -- if his eyes weren't wandering. He's one of the most competitive players in the league and stuck on a 15-win team with a rookie coach and no point guard or center. If he was ready to settle into a rebuilding program and call it a career he wouldn't be Dwyane.
This is how it goes. Kobe demanded a trade last season when things were looking down; McGrady did the same in 2004-05; Payton before him, etc. etc.
We owe Dwyane a team. If we get him one, I have no doubt that he'll stay. If we don't, we should expect him to do what great players do, and find an organization that will give him a team.

Trade him. We should trade #2 too, they only have to sign a 4 year deal then they can bolt. #2+Wade for Rashard Lewis. He's signed for the next 5 years so we know he's not leaving.

I really don't know if Orlando would do that. While we are at it, Why don't we send Pat Riley to the Knicks for Isiah. Pat Riley is only going to be around for a couple more years, Lets get isiash so we can have a G.M for the next 12 years.

I was worried the way he responded to the trade rumors, but those bs rumors probably just caught him by surprise. Here's what he said earlier today.
"I'm from Chicago, no question about it. But Miami has been my home for five years, as well, and hopefully it's my home for a long, long time to come. So I want to do my part of helping my home look better," he said of proceeds from Staples promotion going toward refurbishment of the park's tennis and basketball courts.[/quote]
