The Shaq Trade (From LA to Miami)

Post#1 » by HeatFanSince87 » Wed Jun 11, 2008 1:10 am

Not sure if maybe this goes in another thread, so MODs feel free. But, we all get this question a lot. On the forums, or even from our friends that know we are Heat fans. What it worth it? One championship for losing the trio of Wade, Caron and Lamar who could be contending now.

When I see the pre game for the Finals, like I did again tonight. About, the pastime of all the old champs, and I see Wade and tapping Shaq's head, reprsenting the Heat fanchise as one of the past champions..then, seconds late hear "AND THE MIAMI HEAT OUR CHAMPIONS OF THE BASKETBALL WORLD!!!" re-assures me that I am never wrong when saying I'd do that trade 100 times out of 100 for that one championship..

Because like Riley said...you're always a champion. Who doesnt get goose bumps during this part of the Finals???

2006 Champions, and regardless who wins this championship, in the last 25 years of the NBA, the MIAMI HEAT are only one of SEVEN franchises that have had the right to call themselves champions. So, next time a fan of another team asks if it's worth it, ask them to chew on that fact and get back to you if he thinks it WASNT worth it.

Heat will RISE!

SHAAAAAAAAAAQUUUUUUUUUUUUILLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEE O'NEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL

*train horn*

I finally thought that shaq would leave a team on a good note.. hell he praise the organization in his press conference when he joined the suns... but when you talk smack after the fact.. then bleep you!

I HOPE SHAQ GETS BOO'ED WHEN HE COMES BACK TO MIAMI. HELL IM GETTING MY TICKETS WHEN THEIR AVAILABLE.

thanks shaq for a very productive 04-05 season... and a semi-productive 05-06 season.

have fun in the valley of the sun.

worth it, how many teams other than (lakers, spurs, pistons, rockets, celtics, bulls) have won a title in the past 25 years?
