I am not sure if everyone has seen this article, but I found it to be very informative. They rate Beasley and Love as the best two players in the draft, while downgrading Rose and Mayo. I hope the Heat uses similar statistical analysis as part of their pre-draft research:

I dunno ... is a draft analysis that says Nick Fazekas and Stephane Lasme are better than Greg Oden and Kevin Durant even worth reading?

I like Hollinger's better, though I don't think it's been updated since January. Beasley rules that one too FWIW.

Sorry but the writer lost me when i saw the Whole Lasme thing. I for one think Combines and measuremts are garbage, Judge players for what they do on the court and not what they can do when they are in a T-Shirt and no one Defending them. How did Darko turn out? how about Luke "Turdchucker" Jackson? How many players can you think of that were mediocore in college or Prep school went to the combine or team measurments and became known and after that became stars? Not many but i can name alot of people who did not have good combines or measurments but had a good career and it translate to the NBA. We play Basketball on a court with people covering us, yet some people think its all about how high you can jump and what you can do in a interview. That Micheal olowakandi is quiet the Superstar, 7"1 and can jump, wow.

The article didn't mention anything about the combine and measurements. It evaluated the stats that they put up from the season. And it showed that Hibbert should be a top five pick. Anymore doubters?

Riley is genius. We got Lasme on board, we get Beasley; we could contend for the Fantasy Basketball championship!

On a more serious note, I do believe Lasme is going to become a solid contributor with our team.
