How mad WOULD you be if..

Post#1 » by HeatFanSince87 » Mon Jun 30, 2008 3:47 am

With all the hype around the draft, the Bulls and Heat, etc it got me to thinking about past Bulls picks, and I have to say, I'd be pretty pissed with fact of even having to take another point guard with such a high pick. I know Jay Williams had the injury, and I am not saying it's mangament's fault, I would just be super annoyed having to pick a pg so high within 6 years.

02- #2 Jay Williams

*Could have had Amare, or Caron Butler

03- #7 Kirk Hinrich

*Could have had Josh Howard or David West

08- #1 Derrick Rose

So you just made an ambiguous thread of little importance to annoy Since88 right?

I don't get it, what does this have to do with Heat. Seems like your questioning whether the Bulls are making the right choice in bypassing other talent in their never ending search for a PG. I for one thought they needed someone like Beasley more than Rose as at least Chris Paul and Deron Williams have David West and Carlos Boozer. Rose has who, Tyrus, Noah, & Gooden? Then again they did give up Aldridge for Tyrus, so maybe he'll be Rose's go to frontcourt guy.

Interesting thought, but this sounds like something that belongs in the Random Thoughts thread.

So delete or move the thread, it's not that serious...

I'm pretty mad at the decline in grammar and spelling on this board if that's the question in the thread title

I think it shows the homerism and optimism of fans more than anything. Everyone in the top 10 thinks there player will make the all-star team, and is the franchise's answer to his position for the next 15 years. Look at the 2001 NBA draft, although a relatively weak class, these players should be hitting their primes now, of the 30 players chosen in the first round 7 years later 2 remain on the team that drafted them (Dalembert and Parker, picks 28 and 30). 2 of the top 10 picks in 2002 remain on the same team that drafted them.

Guys, lighten up. I left out the word "would". We are in an NBA message board for crying out loud. Sometimes, I think people take this a bit too serious..

Quite frankly, I'd be more pissed about the trading of LaMarcus Aldrige, and the drafting of Joakim Noah.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Technically speaking we aren't actually "in" the board.
