He expires at the right time - 09/10

Obviously, Miami jumps on this. I'm not sure Sacramento has interest, though. I don't think they see Miller as a player they need to dump.

To Be Honest, i don't care what Miller's contract is like. Getting LO back would be a dream come true for me.

Millers contract is 3 million more, but worth it with his talent.

I feel he and Zo could bring us closer to another championship better than Blount and Zo

Plus just like Blount becomes a Free Agent in 2010 so he will not hinder our bid for Wade and whomever (James, Bosh, Anthony).

I suggested a 3way deal with these same teams a couple of days ago as well but instead I added Banks contract instead of Blount with LA taking the hit to satisfy their boner for Artest.

Odom is a FA next offseason (2009) by the way which makes trading Banks even more important if we are to offer him an extension next year.

I like Banks cause he is a decent point guard
Blount is not a center this team needs

Banks and Chalmers will be good and provide a great bench guard

Odom and Marion are so even..i would do a swap depending on what position the Heat staff think Beasley plays.

If Beasley is a PF, we are better off with Marion's with his perimeter defense and ability to occasionally hit the 3.

If Beasley is a SF, i prefer Odom over Marion at PF..Odom is a better defender at the 4 than Marion is.

Absolutely not from the Kings standpoint. Turning KT/Artest into Marion is ideal for us, but turning Miller/Artest into Marion/Mihm? Hell no.

We feel the same way about the KT/Artest offer. HELL NO. I would happily keep Marion.

if we have Odom and Beasley. That would mean both our forwards would b left handed, that could prove to be a pretty effective force i believe. I think we would be a good team especially if we get an upgrade as center.. a la Brad Miller

Great, then turn it into Haslem/Marion/2nd round pick for Odom/Miller. Better?

It makes sense, Wade wants to play with Odom again, the Kings are interested in trading Artest for Marion (while getting rid of KT) and the Lakers want Artest on their team, even if that means taking on KT's contract.

Sounds good but why the 2nd round pick? I think 2 starters to get 2 starters back should be enough without the pick. Not that I really care if it makes or breaks the deal. Just curious.

Two left handed Forwards that would piss alot of defenders off.

I'm not so sure that it's really the left-handed part that should attract you guys but rather the ball handling aspect that Odom provides on a team that likes to run. Odom can help Chalmers and Banks two guys that don't exactly have Steve Nash like PG skills.

He's changed since he was in Miami. He's not the guy you traded. He's stronger, more of a PF, defends better, and is more aggressive. He's less of a 3 now but would fit nicely since you could have Beasley and Odom interchange on offense, while Beasley plays the 3s and Odom the 4s defensively.

A straight up trade should not be out of the question. Buss may prefer Marion at 12m-13m a year rather than paying Artest a little less and having to pay Kenny Thomas at the same time.
