The Lakers want Ron Artest so why not give them Ron Artest and We will take Odom and the Kings can take Marion. But the Lakers would also have to take the unattractive contract of Kenny Thomas. This trade would work if it was going anyway to ether team. But as a heat fan we would rather take the same player as marion except taller and less expensive in Lamar Odom. Wade has already said he would love to play with him again. Riley wants to keep Marion long term but they can;t agree on a contract cause Riley wants him to take about 10-12 million a season but Marion wants more. I think Lamar Odom who is make 14.5 million this season would probablly do that for a good 4 year extension who turns 30 this season. So if the LAkers want to take MArion then I'd rather do that straight up with them but they would rather have Artest so this works.
