Week Ahead (1/3 - 1/9)

Post#1 » by Dakid21KG » Sat Jan 3, 2009 6:37 am

Sat - Sabers @ Boston
Tues - Wild @ Boston
Thurs - Sens @ Boston

Some good matchups, 2 out of 3 are division games, so expect a lot of body checking. The last time we played the wild, they handed us one of our few losses, so it should be interesting.

Keep the home streak going and also regular win streak!

Yep, I am looking forward to that wild game. Especially now that manny is playing well. He will get back at his old team.

Buffalo sure has the B's number this year huh? Kind of like Montreal last year, we just couldn't beat them. Hopefully the B's can come back.

Thornton's goal was nice.

Every once and awhile its good to get beat. The sabers play a tough game and miller was just unbelievable. It was a good game, we played well and so did they. They were just able to put the rabbit in the hat more.

Rebound against minny and get back to our winning ways.

1-0 loss.

Damn. Not much too say. Manny was good, Backstrom was better.

You hate to lose games at home, especially 2 games in a row.

Its a bad night when the celtics lose in OT and bruins 1-0

Yeah! Shawn Thornton and Neal fight was awesome.

Good to see the Bruins get back to playing the way they have been.

2-0 in the 1st.

6-4 win.

Savy's fist pump to the crowd after he scored that goal was great.

Hey, either of you guys know a scalper who would have tickets for the game tomorrow(Sat.)? Got the day off and figured I'd see what all the fuss is about.

Lol. Nah. How much are you willing to spend? I saw a ticket online for 47 or so dollars. I didn't check if there were any cheaper. Last time I went to a scalper was before the lockout and it wasn't worth it. 50 a piece, for high up in the balcony and they lost 3-0.

You should catch a game though. Especially matinees, I love going to those.

Yeah, I think I'll go in there with a couple friends and see what the guys outside have. If it's crazy we can just get drunk at a bar and watch.
