Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has assigned forwards Martin St. Pierre and Vladimir Sobotka to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League).


It must be hard being a young guy in transition. Up then down, then called back up again then when you think you have a spot on this team, sent back to the AHL. Not like I wouldn't love to do it though :P

In addition to those moves. Tuuka Rask was just called up to back up Timmy Thomas today. Reported on NESN. Hmm... wonder what is wrong with Manny?
