Playoffs!!

Quick story that you guys may get a kick out of.

Around two to three years ago Tuukka was dating one of my buddy Eric's friends. So she has Tuukka meet her at my friends apartment over in Brookline before they go out.. She's getting ready in the other room or whatever so it's just Eric and Tuuka killing time and making smart talk or whatever, so my buddy asks him, "Hey, you down for some Xbox?" So they throw in NHL and Tuukka's clearly no stranger to the game.. he dives straight into the settings and replaces Timmy with himself as the starting goalie.

So my friends at his crappy apartment in Brookline playing Tuukka Rask playing AS Tuukka Rask on Xbox and the guy is getting CRAZY competitive about it. It's no exaggeration when people say a lot of these pro athletes aren't like normal people.. Tuukka REALLY does NOT wanna lose, even if it's not affecting his real life stats.

Anyways he does end up losing.. my buddy Eric actually beats him and Tuukka is mother effin' PISSED. As soon as the final horn sounds Tuukka stands up and straight Gronks the controller, smashing it on the ground. Those things are like $60 too.

A glimpse into what it takes to be a pro athlete I guess?

Goaltenders are crazy, goalkeepers (football/soccer) have a reputation of being mental over here as well.

Its 4pm here (puck drop at 1am) and I can't wait.

Haggs tweeted out that the pilot on his flight, in response to a crying baby, got on the intercom and asked, "Is that Sidney Crosby back there?"

The best part though is that reporter's actually asked Crosby about it. Just fantastic.

I thought someone would be dumb enough to ask Crosby, what did he reply?

Something along the lines " Im sure hes not the only one to be saying things about me. I dont worry about stuff like that."

But he was clearly pissed to be asked about it.

Just showed the replay of Vitalys penalty. Weak call. Its the playoffs, I wouldnt have minded if theyd let that go.

Pretty good 1st period. Happy with the lead obviously.

Think we need to be aware though, Pittsburgh seem to have improved slightly. Hopefully we get the next goal.

Yea even with the early goal Pitt hasnt looked phased. Pretty even so far but Boston looks a little bit crisper.

How the hell does that 3 muskateer looking MFer Letang get a Norris Trophy finalist nomination over Chara? Hes getting tossed around like a ragdoll out there and has gotten hung out to dry for a bunch of goals this series.
