I heard this kid could be awesome. I say he is the backup up for Thomas over the next two years until Thomas's contract is up.

I dont think timmy thomas will be our starting goalie next year. I see the bruins pushing hard for JS Giguere. The problem with him, is he might want too much money. But there are other options. Such as Evegeni Nabokov, or Vesa Toskala. Another name that just was thrown out there was Manny Fernandez. Basically what I am trying to get at is, yes I have heard the same about Tukka rask, how this kid is a "stud", but I dont think he will be up here that soon, if we get an established goaltender, like nabokov or giguere.

Bringing him into the NHL next year would be the worst thing for him. He's still raw, and needs the experience in pro hockey first. If he's in North America next season, he'll be playing in the minors.

Goalies take a long time to develop. He hasn't played a single game on North American ice since the World Juniors a couple of years back. He won't be playing in the NHL for awhile

Well Hanu sucks and Thomas is really suited as a backup.. we need to get a legit goalie in here fast

tuuka is on the fast track for a goalie, but he will absolutely need to play in the ahl unless he blows everybody away, which is highly unlikely, although he is an elite prospect

he is signed by the way, so he will be suiting up for providence next season
