Bruins Playoffs: Boston vs. Montreal

Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Sun Apr 6, 2008 10:42 pm

Yep...again.

This will be a tough, tough series. For those who do not know, the bruins were swept this year by the Habs. 8-0. If the bruins some how win, it would be a big, big upset.

Savard is questionable right now. After listening to chiarelli, I get the feeling Savard will play.

Bergeron on the other hand is probably a no-go. Who knows though, anything can happen.

Heres the schedule for the first 4 games:

Bruins @ Canadiens Thurs

Bruins @ Canadiens Sat

Canadiens @ Bruins Sun

Canadiens at Bruins Tues

Keys:
-FANS, BUY TICKETS TO THE GAME. The last time they were in town, it was dominated by Habs fans. Disgusting.

-Get the offense rolling. If Savard plays, it will be huge.

-Timmy.

GO Bruins!!!!!

That's awesome news! Gives us a much better chance in this series. Not only will it be a emotional up lift, but we need offense with savy coming back from injury, and kobasew out.

Im going to game three!!!! Im so excited, my first playoff game. If bergy plays I will be thrilled. (He is my favorite player). I cant wait to see looooch bully them canadiens. Its going to be a tough series though, we need sturm and krieci to click like they did at the end of the year. We need to throw as many shots at price as we can, he has a lot of pressure on him as a rook.

LETS GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, bad game 1. Bruins need to take game 2 if they want to make this a series.

Controversial move in scratching kessel. Bruins lose game 2.

Tough game to lose. Timmy Thomas was amazing. We now have 3 home games in a row. I see them winning two of the three. But, boy if they could take all 3, then we have a chance...wishes.

edit: nevermind, the 5th game is in canada. For some reason I thought it went two in canada three in boston two in canada. Apparently not.

2-1 in overtime!! Bruins take game three.

Savy's OT winner puts the b's right back in this series.

Montreal leads series 2-1, with boston looking to tie it up at home tuesday.

Sunday was by far the best sporting event I have ever been too. It was only my second Bruins game ever and wow I am I glad I went. I sat is section 16 about half way up. I was like in the heart of Montreal. My whole section was filled mostly with habs jerseys. The whole game was so intense, there were fights in the crowd, beer's being thrown, just simply unforgetable. The one fight that was really cool, was a guy with a candien flag on his back and a guy with a USA one went at it while waiting to take a piss at the bathroom.

But when Savard put that wrist shot to the back of the net, the crowd just went crazy. Like it was unbelievable, everyone (execpt the candiens fans) were just freaking out. Then once they put on dirty water, everyone fan was singing it and just loving the moment.

Then when we started to walk back to the train station, all the Bruins fans mocked the ole song by the canadiens. It went, "UR Gay, ur gay, Ur gay....." Just incredible stuff.

come on B's, slay that canadien dragon!

Awesome story dakid.

I don't see bergy playing at all this series. Which sucks. I really hope we advance so he will get a chance to play.

3-1, series looks over, but I would like to see them get another win. Who knows though, anything can happen.

Tonight's game was one of the best games I've seen for any Boston sports team and the best Bruins game I've ever seen. Just incredible.

Only things that would keep me from ranking it in my top 3 is that I like all of the other 3 Boston sports teams more and there have been games with more at stake.

Bruins lose, but they hold their heads high, taking to the canadiens to 7 after being down 3-1 is something they have never done before.

Return to Boston Bruins
