Bruins to sign Wheeler

First story on there.

Blake Wheeler!

I really haven't heard much about him before this, but every rumor outlet always had his name in it, with lots of teams interested. So it is nice to see the bruins come out successful.

Maybe a sign that states players DO want to come to boston.

Either way, great way to start off Free Agency.

Nice, every little bit helps, this team needs to win the Stanley Cup next season. Somehow. Assuming that Thomas and Fernandez are mediocre enough to warrant accelerating Rask, is there an obviously unlikely best case scenario in which a team led by a sure-to-be-future-HOF goalie (;)) like Rask, plus Savard, Chara, Kessel, Bergeron, Lucic, Wheeler, plus [insert surprise free agent] etc wins the whole thing?

Assuming we can dump Murray (addition by subtraction and cap space), and add Hossa (I'm not the biggest fan, but with Savard and Bergie here we don't need Hossa to be alpha dog, just top notch) andeither Wheeler or Soderberg make the big club, we'll be in the running that is for sure. I don't want to rush Rask at all, but assuming our defense improves from continuity and added experience, I am very confident with T Thomas in net.

Wow, blake wheeler has been impressive so far.

He might even make the team. I am rooting for him to.

I really hope we keep this prospect. I would love to see him play with kreci or yelle. His so big, he would be great on power plays in front of the net.
