Bergeron to IR. St. Pierre to Providence

Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has assigned center Martin St. Pierre to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League) and placed forward Patrice Bergeron on injured reserve.

Sad news on the bergeron front, kind of expected though.

St. Pierre did pretty well while he was up here. Savard can make anyone look good though.

This was not the last time we will be seeing St. Pierre. He'll be back

Might as well take their time and not risk further damage when you have guys like st. pierre stepping up.

The kid has a lot of skill. 3 zone player, I'm really starting to like this prospect. I think he defiantly has a spot on this team next season, if not this season.

I was wondering why he played last night, then realized they recalled him. That was fast.

He really does have talent. When we traded pelltier for this guy, I thought it would be a minor move, but looks like Chia made a good deal.
