Yeah, this team can't catch a break. He had surgery today and is expected to be out for a long time. The time is sketchy as of right now. Some are speculating 6 weeks, some say less then that.

Well thats not as bad as I thought. But still, Ryder was a great scorer and he will be missed.

He has been practicing with a full cage helmet. He is going to wear a visor for the rest of the season and possibly the rest of his career.
