A Glance at the Cap

I did some work with numbers to see how our cap is going to be looking next season.
Thomas - 6.00
Tuukka - 3.2
= 9.2
Chara - 7.5
Wideman - 3.75
Ward - 2.5
Ference - 1.625
Stuart - 1.5
Hundwick - 1.5
= 18.375
Savard - 5
Beregeron - 5
Ryder - 4
Sturm - 3.5
Wheeler - .875
Kobasew - 2.5
Lucic - .685
Thornton - .550
Sobotka - .625
Kessel - 3.750
Krejci - 4
Fill In Players - 4
= 34.485
Total: Roughly 62 Million
Just looking at it without removing anyone under contract but also signing key restricted free agents our cap is not looking pretty.
Granted that the cap shifts to about 55 Million instead of the 57 right now then we defiantly are in trouble.
Too make this work we probably have to trade Sturm, Kobasew, and Stuart to make that 55 million cap. Or another possibly is trading Bergeron which none of us want to see happen.
Hopefully we some how can get Recchi to sign back for about .550 which is similar to this years contract because that would be a sweet pick up.
So PC has some work to do.
