The only blot, on the night, for the West Coast Flames came when Matt Stajan left the game after the first period with a shoulder injury. He did not return.

“We’ll know more after he sees our doctors in Calgary” said assistant general manager Jay Feaster. “Clearly, it’s something he couldn’t return with. He’s going to miss some time. But we’ll wait until we see the doctors.”
