While the Flames declined to comment when contacted by TSN today, sources confirm Keenan is currently in Calgary and if all goes as expected, the well-traveled NHL executive and coach could be announced as the head coach of the Flames as early as Thursday.

I'll sum up what i said in the other thread. The flames have one year left in their push with this current group and Sutter must think that Keenan is the best coach to take this group and pound them into shape in the short period. He wont be here long. One year max I say, and then the Flames will look in another direction when they lose some of their core next off season.

I can't believe Keenan continues to get coaching jobs.

My predicition - he alienates Iginla and he signs with Edmonton next off season.

Well Huselius flat out sucked there now he is a point getter and a great player. Keenan respects Sutter alot and he won't make orders its up to Sutter.
