Rafer ruled. Kinda sucks that he could never shed the "street-baller" label because he was a legit starting-PG for a bunch of winning playoff teams for nearly a decade.

White Chocolate kept my playing dreams alive longer than they probably should've been. He was a goddamn artist.


Seconded on FORMER BUCK Rafer Alston. Street Ball peaked when I was a teenager. The Professor, Hot Sauce, etc were just as influential as NBA stars were to me at that age.

Prof still doing his thing, with J-Will for post continuity.

Professor is a guy Ive spent at least 9 years in an ongoing contemplation of if I should take him seriously or not.

Fun career by any metric. But ridiculous hair, and pushes the “i was good enough go be in the nba” thing too hard.
