I voted Packers. Superbowls can be won by teams that have a QB and just get hot at the right time. The Packers also don't really have any major weaknesses.

The higher variance and parity of the NFL means you're less likely to win a championship no matter how good your organization and roster is. This explains why the Packers haven't won since 2011 despite being consistently the best run franchise in the league and putting out title contending rosters every season save for a couple lean years during that time (2017, 2018). Ditto for the Brewers in the context of the last 8 or so years, with the caveat of baseball's competitive/financial mechanisms **** over small market teams at every opportunity.

I'm surprised the Bucks aren't running away with this. You've got a Top 2-3 player at worst in his prime, and the best duo since Kareem and Oscar, with a veteran supporting cast who has "been there and done that" as far as championship pedigree within the last 3-years. Throw in that best-of-7 playoff series in all rounds almost always yields the proper result (best team wins), as well as there being no real juggernaut/dynasty team in their way, and I can't imagine anyone but the most jaded, sad-sack portion of the fanbase that doesn't think this is the best shot the Bucks have to win a title since they last won it.

I think the big thing for me with the Bucks is we've had major players injured the last few years. And if you lose one of your top 3 guys its going to be incredibly difficult against some teams that are healthy. Whereas in the NFL, outside of Jordan Love, we can mask an injury to a guy like Jacobs, a WR, or even some of our lineman a bit more. Same with the defensive side of the ball to a degree. A lot easier to hide one player out of 22 being injured vs our 7-8 man rotation for the Bucks.

I'm going to go with the Brewers because they've got some of that team of destiny vibe to them. If you told me 5 months ago Devin Williams wouldn't pitch until the end of July, Yelich would be out for the season in late July, Woodruff would miss the entire season and Miley would play 2 games I'd think they were on their way to losing 100 games. I don't know if you can win in contemporary baseball if you barely crack the top 20 in HR's, but I feel much less strongly about that than I would them being 20 games over .500 with all of their injuries before the season.

It's Brewers right now, so many questions in basketball. Baseball is so random once you make the playoffs which the Brewers will and there is not as many teams in the playoffs in baseball. I'd guess their chances are hovering around 15-20% chance to win it all right now which is pretty great. Bucks have the best roster in Wisconsin though, basketball is just harder in the playoffs and we can get injured

Also gotta say that Chourio contract is prob one of the best sports contracts of all time, kid is gonna be in MVP talks every year.

I'd say Brewers. As somebody else mentioned, they're already in the playoffs (basically). They might have a bye. The playoffs are a random number generator in baseball (which is both good and bad I guess if you want certainty).

Bucks will have the Celtics and a dominant West team in their way.

Packers are good but too much variance to even know if they'll make the playoffs.

Wisconsin football will not win one before the sport of football ceases to exist.

Marquette/Wisconsin - you never know in the tournament, but unlikely.

I went with the Packers - too many years of good regular seasons and falling on their face in the playoffs for me to pick the Brewers and I'm not convinced Silver will let another small market team win one for awhile.

Obviously the answer is the Bucks. They have the proven starpower.

Chip on the shoulder for the ship. Chip for the ship. That's going to be the mantra this year.

And apparently it's going to even have to be aimed at in-state sports' fans too. Not giving this team their proper respect.

I'm thinking there should be shirts made of Giannis, Dame, & Khris holding the O'Brien trophy while dropping a chocolate chip shape turd on sport's fans from Celtics to Sixers to Brewers to Packers. Rilamann can be wearing the Packers' shirt.

Brewers have been surprisingly good but their last 4 trips to the playoffs they've been immediately bounced. They need to win a series before I can think about WS. Maybe this is the year.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Because the poll is “most likely to win” not “will win”. It isn’t saying that we are guaranteed a Wisconsin championship this year.

Packers then Bucks, fewer games to win in NFL postseason whereas the NBA is a grueling marathon where more talented teams generally always wins. Packers get past SF last year and they had a real chance.

This is a really fun question, and reminds us there are three reallt good teams in state right now. I vote:

1) Bucks due to having the best player in the east

2) Crew… hot at the right time, with a puncher’s chance

3) Pack.. good coach, good roster, one of the 6-8 teams with a chance of winning “the marathon” of the nfl season and playoffs

I know this is a Bucks site but gotta be Packers. Think Love will have MVP season and defense is hopefully shored up.
Brewers keep surprising me but just hard to believe without star power and after losing Yelich.
Bucks seem too old.

On paper they aren’t particularly great but just keep winning. Baseball is often weird in the playoffs and they are weird enough to make a run

Kind of where I’m at with it. This team keeps winning and avoiding long losing streaks. No one nationally is giving them any shot and feels like maybe this could be the wonky year they win a playoff series and then who knows. The pitching is good enough to keep them in games and they have shown more offense than previous seasons. But most likely get bounced by large market and get to complain about MLB’s competitive balance yet again, especially after Adames goes to LA.

Bucks I still feel are legit but the core is yet anothet year older and Giannis being healthy just can’t be counted on.

Packers I do think should be in the mix but also are still young and we’ll see how they handle large expectations. Last year was house money.

I don’t see any of the college teams winning a championship anytime soon.
