This debate will boil down, like many on here, to how good of an off-season you think we had and if you believe they can defend well enough to truly compete.

Our rotation, in my opinion, NEEDS a jolt of athleticism, speed and youth. Especially on the wing. Not next year. Not in the next 3-5 years. Now.

All that matters for me is that Dame, Brook, and Prince looked awesome before they stopped caring. I don't know why anyone expects anything from Andre/Marjon/Livingston/Johnson/Smith this season. Outside of Marjon being a lost cause, who gives a ****?

Hopefully Trent's injury isn't serious.

We need one of those dudes to step up. Badly. Not even talking like Michael Redd step-up, but even just a contributor like Ramon Sessions or LRMAM. Last night was sort of ridiculous in that half the roster looks unplayable.

Why? Like, would it make me feel better about the future and keeping Giannis here 3-5 years down the road? Absolutely, but for the immediate goal of winning a championship this season, none of those dudes matter, at all.

Maybe, but that's assuming we're competing healthy, and historically, no one ever is. We'll likely need one of these guys to play.

Our rotation is getting a jolt of speed in Wright, without him being young.

I think the need for speed is more pronounced at the 4/5 than it is on the wing. The teams we need to beat in the playoffs have KAT, Turner, and Krystaps at center. Lopez is going to get absolutely cooked again in the playoffs.

Preseason, but Bobby scoring 16 in 13 minutes and somehow being a -13 is impressive nonetheless.

Sure, unless you like watch his minutes with context, and acknowledge the lineups he was playing with.

He's not perfect, and he's not really a center, but he's the least of our problems.

Yeah, he was pretty much the only viable offense for a good stretch of his playing time

Can anyone tell me if Trent came back after the elbow issue? If he played on for a little bit, it's more likely they just pulled him because it's pre season vs the injury was terribly bad. Could have also just pulled him immediately for the same reason.

Honestly it'll be hard to tell until we see him at practice.

He immediately went to the locker room and was in a lot of pain.

That's not ideal. Let's see what happens in the next week or so. Bucks have been stingy with actual injury news for a while now.

Ya if Giannis misses the playoffs again otherwise he would be on Kat and Turner Krystaps is not much faster then Lopez. It’s the first game for some of the young kids I think they will play more this season and do well. I really like Johnson he’s got star potential he missed some easy shots that he normally will make.

What is frustrating is we don't even know if he's progressing.
