I feel it’s a pretty underrated aspect of Giannis game that he’s basically been the most clutch defender in the league for a while now. He’s had so many key defensive plays in the clutch over the years.

Yes it is. And you look terrific for 86. From the lukewarm reception your introduction to the T-Mobile crowd got, I don't think there are many of us left who saw how great you were or even know what you did except get a triple double record that Russell Westbrook chased.

But there was a lot more to your game, and what you brought to the Bucks late in your career was stability and on-court organization. Which is also what Middleton brings, even when he's not the centerpiece of the offense, and albeit to a lesser degree. He may not be the straw that stirs the drink the way Oscar was, but watching him yesterday reminded me that he's a necessary ingredient even when he's not at his best.

KM is an excellent comp to the Big O (what's the term, a poor man's BigO?). But until he joined the Bucks, the BigO never had teammates like KM does.

Just finished watching. We spent so much energy at defense and played best defense IMO in last 2 years. Refs kept it close and at the end we were tired because we spent so much energy at defense. Stupid mistakes were direct result of being tired IMO.

Players clearly care about cup. I care too and I dont understand all of you who dont care. Your team is about to win one of competitions and you dont care? I cared about each 3 on 3 basket game that I played on street. Each 2 on 2 and each 1 on 1. I dont let my kids beat me in any game. The NBA cup is official competition. When you win it you get a trophy and other 29 teams dont. Really strange resistance from most of you to NBA cup.

And the 6-0 counting for the regular season is nice as well.

Justin Garcia relayed someone close to the Bucks wondered if it would have been better for them to have lost because they'd get a week off. Apparently that was a regular conversation in Vegas. Obviously the NBA need to work on their incentives.

Thank you for posting this, I remember this well- It was, for me, the most foretelling game and moment of Giannis' "ascending" phase. I called my dad afterwards and told him that, against all odds, the milwaukee bucks had the best player in the NBA, and if we could just get our coaching act together, we'd actually be competing for championships.
