It's becoming clearer every game that the organization should have cleaned house this past offseason. Could have just rolled with Prunty, hired Atkinson, then brought in a new GM with a vision of building around Dame/Giannis. But nope, we're stuck with a dinosaur head coach, ill-fitting roster pieces around said duo, and a GM with zero creativity or confidence to take risks in moving on from core players that won us a championship 4-years ago.

Yeah, maybe I guess? He is pretty streaky and genuinely very limited when dribbling. He’s a good connector on that side of the ball but also panics a bit too.

SG has been an afterthought on this roster for awhile and they just have to take what they can get.

He doesn't need to be dribbling. He's not driving to the basket. He needs to be moving off the ball as much as possible and catch and shoot (we also need to be working to get him open as another option on O each time down the floor. He doesn't need to take every shot, just be there as the threat to take one. We don't utilise that enough). He's 46% from 3 on the season.

When Marjon and Patty C are getting as many or more shots in less minutes, we're doing something wrong on our offensive sets.

He doesn't need to be dribbling and especially when he's in a unit with Dame and Giannis. Honestly, both him and Trent are better two way versions of what worked with Malik. Pair a floor spacer with Dame and Giannis and put the defense in hell.

Ajax's athleticism and energy was a nice boost but it's hurting the offense. Life on offense for both Giannis and Dame becomes easier with a sniper in the lineup. I'd actually be fine with Ajax staying in the lineup but I'd have it be over Prince and paired with a shooter. The good news is that either Green or Trent paired with Ajax accomplishes both goals of becoming more mobile and better defensively while also having a floor spacer.

I know "starter" in label doesn't matter but unit synergy does. Ajax and Prince is a clunky pairing. All these role players - Green, Trent, Ajax, Prince - all have usable traits and great coaching would maximize their attributes while also making life easier on Giannis and Dame. I don't see us doing that often enough.

Even more reason to play him more with Giannis and Dame. Teams are already going to emphasize Dame and Giannis so not having Green or Trent - two guys that can take advantage of that space - borders on malpractice to me.

How can we make life as challenging as possible for Giannis on the offensive end? Got, let's pair him with 6'6 Gadz in Andre Jackson Jr and most obvious role player off the bench player of all time Taurean Prince.

Honest question, in this modern NBA is there any coaching staff dumb enough to pair Ajax and Prince as your starting wings. It's honestly comedy to me. Again, both dudes do have positive attributes that can be leveraged but it's comical to not pair more shooting with our starting unit

Dont matter. We aren't beating anyone in the top 3 in the East.

Nah, it'll be a second round exit most likely. An ECF appearance would be a pretty big success given the limitations of this team.
