It still pains me that in all of these years of superstar Giannis, we’ve never had a true point guard. Seeing glimpses of how Khris can find him in the two man game makes me confident that we’d have an unstoppable offense with a better passer at PG. Dame is the best we’ve had in that respect in a long time, but he and Giannis don’t have the chemistry figured out yet.

Pairing Giannis with a pure, pass first PG was/is the cheat code. Somehow the Buck's front office for years has been oblivious to this fact. Apparently.

Giannis is unstoppable on his own, but it wouldn't be fair if he had a pass-first, play-making PG that could get him easy and high % baskets every night.

Dame on other hand is the worst possible PG you would want to pair with Giannis. Giannis and Dame have played together for a full season and a half and they still don't look like they mesh or are a great fit and spoiler alert, they never will be a good fit together.

This is a no brainer for me

I wasn't feeling well, fell asleep before the game started....either way glad we got the win. Winning B2B's is tough no matter the opponents. Would be nice if we could go streaking.

Agenda-based posting...look, in my day (today) we (I) would post for the sake of posting.

Let's not forget why we're here (posting).

Disagree. There has always been this longing for basketball purity in the form of a pass-first point guard, and I think it's an illusion. I'm glad Bob Cousy, himself the paradigm of this kind of point guard, believed that Oscar didn't measure up and dumped him to the Bucks. Oscar seemed able to figure out how to feed Lew/Kareem well enough while still scoring some himself.

Far from disqualifying, Lillard's ability to get his own makes him a better facilitator.

Yup, the offense has been better the last 2 games with Dame doing less initiating. Use Dame for what he is, an undersized SG.
