That looked like the Khris we saw in the few games before that LA debacle. I would just like to hear an explanation as to why he looked like that for a night, like rolled his ankle in practice, stiffened up from lack of movement for a few days, etc.

Cuz that way he won't necessarily lapse back into that player temporarily or permanently later on. Don't know if we can afford either. I don't want the explanation to be he has bad days physically, let alone can't handle increased defensive intensity.

I'm not gonna be shamed into thinking I'm less of a fan of said player just because injuries, the human body, and Father Time are undefeated. Sorry, not sorry.

Not trying to shame you or anyone else, nor do I think Father Time will take his first loss in Khris's case. But he's only 33, and it's not like he's been as hobbled as a Kawhi or Embiid. I don't think that #22 banner is going up in the rafters for a few years at least (unless Michael Redd or Ricky Pierce already has it up there, which I don't think is the case).

Khris is just beautiful to watch when he's cooking. Fathomable elegance, unlike Giannis' physics-defying stampedes.

KM is beauty in slow motion, but Giannis combines strength with unbelievable finesse and beauty. His finger rolls are the reincarnation of George Gervin, Elgin Baylor, Dr. J, and Connie Hawkins. Guys like Wilt and Shaq were brute strength. Don't mess with history.

Hawk has long been whom I thought was the most direct descendant to Giannis.

Oh, I thought you were inferring that was trade talk.

You mean the trade talk explained the shoddy performance. I don't think it makes you look like you physically can't move and those rumors have been out there for weeks, thru which he was usually playing well.

So I doubt that was the reason.

We never got to see Connie Hawkins in his prime for very long, because he was unfairly blacklisted in college and then in the NBA for a point shaving incident he was never part of, the victim of racism and more racism.

I remember seeing him with the Globetrotters in the early 1960s and then in the ABA. By the time he legally forced the NBA to take him, he was still great (first team NBA), but was begining to fade because of injuries.

Not a proud moment in NCAA or NBA history.

He's an absolute necessity because of Dames defense. Live with the growing pains. Who else would play tonight?

Trent already played a bunch of minutes last night though, so who else should have played?

It's no problem that Dre played last night. Truthfully I think we'd be better off with Pat usually even, but it doesn't hurt to give the 23 year old some minutes against a bottom feeder, lord knows he needs them.

Hell no Pat can’t stay in front of anyone anymore and Trent is good off the bench he was off last nite too 2-9 Ajax was 3-3 with some great dunks plus 5 rebounds and that diving tap back that lead to a Giannis dunk. Plus other plays with his quickness gets to loose balls our D would suck with Pat playing more.

Picks are useless unless we're blowing it all up and trading GA for young talent and picks too. Wasting 3 GA years while some rookies develop will make him leave anyways -- trade demand.

Tari E was like 2 - 5 in 21 min the other day.. not really better than AJJ.. Not moving a needle so essentially it's Dame for FVV (slower worse version of Dame) straight up.. ridiculous

Tari Eason is 1.2 VORP while playing under 23 minutes a game. He's the 1 of the 2 most underutilized players in the game. He's actually more Wins Shares/48 than Dame. The Bucks could also land another great player if they had 2 more 1sts to deal.

If you don't respect Tari Eason, you don't know ball.

You bring back great memories of my youth. You might be showing that you're pretty young here, which is fine. I remember I was comparing Ray A. and Jordan and I decided that because Ray had a higher FG%, he was actually better than Jordan but Jordan just took more FGA per game. If Ray got as many shots as Jordan he'd concusively average more points and get the respect he deserves. Then we used the per 36 and Gadzuric had more blocks per 36 as a backup then most starting Cs in the league.. and Thon per 36 was basically KG. Turned out there was a reason that they played 20 mpg. These usually don't extrapolate in real life so before we trade Giannis's 1st ballot HOF PG maybe we should take a pause and ask what's real and what is us digging deep statistically to extrapolate and gaslight ourselves.

Also, FVV is the Bobby and KM of point guards. At least you have a type. I can respect that

Barkley talks about this a lot. At the end of his career he could still go off and be vintage Sir Charles but his body was breaking down so then he wouldn’t feel right and have that max effort in him for a week.

The LAC game was simply Midds body not feeling right for whatever reason. It’s going to happen more and more frequently for Midds. This is why some of us are convinced he can’t be vintage Midds for four playoff series.

He was great last night and it was really fun to see the guy we saw in the 21 finals out there.

"If" is always the key word. Once "if" is popping up then you have ceased to be realistic.. if GA made his FTs, if he developed a 3 ball, if KM stayed healthy, if BP could at least play positional D (I'm guilty on that)... once I start hearing them "ifs" i know what we're stumbling into.

Giannis has been unbelievable this season. I hope everyone is relishing this moment and not taking it for granted. This is prime Giannis and he is spoiling us.

What’s also been really nice is Dame’s resurgence. I was really down on him earlier this season, but he’s like a new player in the last few months. I thought physically he looked the best he’s ever looked as a Buck last night. He was quick, decisive, explosive off the dribble, and his three pointers were butter. So glad to see that he can still reach that superstar Dame level.

If FVV was the KM of PGs, he'd be a much better PG, considering KM is a SF who gets more assists than our PG.
