DeAndre Hunter hitting that back breaking 3 was the point of no return. The fact they were able to add that guy to an incredibly deep team.

I understand this Lillard chap may have an extra-gear come playoffs, but if he doesn’t we’re done in the East.

Yes, a lot of it will come down to just how good Lillard is.

I know he has an extra gear, but we’ll need a pretty significant boost from him - like better than what we got from Khris in 2021.

We know Giannis will bring it, and I do trust that Dame’s energy and focus will be there, but we’ll need him to really play like a star, too.

As a slight aside, we need Dame to not be completely removed from the game by a team throwing two bodies at him. I know basketball purists will say just hit the open man, but we’ll really need Dame to be able to break those double teams through splits, or getting the edge on the big who steps up.

We don’t have a bevy of guys, maybe only Giannis and Dame, who can take advantage of being a man up, so it will require Giannis and Dame to be able to win against 2 periodically.

Going forward, Doc needs to find better sets on offense when Sims and Giannis are playing together. Sims also needs to play when Portis comes back. Sims ability to hold his on when he switches 1-5 is big.

VDN: Struse, Vinny Del Negro.
MS: Who is this?
VDN: COACH Vinny Del Negro. I coached the Clippers. I coached the Bulls.
MS: The Whores?
VDN: Look Struce, a paycheck's a paycheck. I got something to discuss with you.
MS: Fiiiine.
VDN: The haircut. That's mine.
MS: I don't think the haircut is a licensed product.
VDN: Tell that to SportClips. Give'em 20 bucks and tell'em you want the Del Negro, that's what you get.
MS: Vicenzo, I don't have time for this. Good-bye.
VDN: Maybe you'll love me when I fade to Del Negro.

That last line. They don’t write em like that, anymore.

all of our SGs seem matchup dependent except for KPJ. he should definitely be playing more minutes than all those guys.

Yeah.. you guys are on point... when we play teams like this, the Pacers, Thunder... KPJ and to a lesser extent Rollins need to be more integral with more minutes.. guys who play hungry on both sides.. we get lackadaisical.. Prince and GTJ are nice but they need a fire lit under their a$$ against teams like this.. fast, athletic, young

The only saving grace is that in the playoffs, most of the bums the Bucks have will not see the floor. Watching Kuzma, I've changed my playoff minutes:

Giannis 43
Dame 43
Brook 40
Trent 35
BP 35
Kuzma 25
That still leaves you with about 20 minutes of scrub action divide it up between KPJ, Green and Rollins. This still isn't a championship lineup, but you can't make a silk purse out a sow's ear.

We'll never beat a fast athletic team in a series with BP getting that many minutes... ouch... Sims dude..... how many Cleveland dunks/layups do you want to see

And you're never going to beat Cleveland if you can't force them into a half court game. Luckily, almost all playoffs are half court games.

Playing BP that many minutes isn't ideal, that's for sure. Neither is playing inefficient, turnover plagued players.

The only chance at a chamionship is to play your best players heavy minutes. Right now, sad to say, BP is one of the five best players on the Bucks.

The fact that Kenny Atkinson has turned the Cavs into world beaters is even more salt in the wound since pretty much everyone on here (myself included) wanted him for the Bucks.

Nah, we've got receipts for this stuff.

Board as a whole was all aboard the overrated War Criminal express. Only a few of us saw the light.

We played a super fast, athletic team in last years playoffs, and we dominated in Bobby's minutes.

We lost the series because we got murdered in Brooks minutes and were bad in Dame's minutes.

We can finally cut Brooks minutes easily, but the challenge is replacing Middleton's playoff dominance.

We'll need Dame to play more than 2 minutes of a defense a game while simultaneously making shots. We haven't seen him do this yet.

Not having Giannis had something to do with losing the series? We'll never how the series would have gone with Giannis of course but you can't say "we lost the series because..." and leave him out.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
