I still expect Boston to win the series. They'll hit a lot more 3's and they've been better on the road all season.

Very true but that environment for game three at MSG is going to be bonkers. Easily the biggest Knicks game there in over a quarter century.

I do also but anytime you're in a position where you NEED to win back to back road games to avoid being dead in the water it's a precarious situation to be in

Remember Mike Breen saying “the building is shaking” about Fiserv during the finals. I expect a louder crowd than that in MSG for these next two games.

The Leprechaun is never dead until the stake is driven through the heart and the body no longer moves. Knicks up 2-0 is a great development, but will Boston roll over?

To me it seems like the key to beating Boston is shutting down Tatum. The inevitable Zinger/Jrue injuries don’t hurt either. But if Tatum plays like crap in game three the series may be over

They've risen to the occasion before. Game 6 in Milwaukee after a similar crushing loss where they blew a double digit 4th quarter lead at home. Game 6 in Philly. Three straight elimination games against Miami (2 on the road). They do not back down in tough environments.

They've also inexplicably wilted at times. Game 7 at home against Miami. Games 4 and 6 at home against GS. So who knows. But I still think they have too much for NY when the 3's start falling.

I’d argue that game six in Milwaukee was more of Tatum rising to the occasion to match Giannis and then the rest of their team playing JUST well enough to outplay the rest of the Bucks playing the worst games of their lives.

Jrue 7-17, Grayson 1-7, Bobby 2-8, Brook 3-6 but -22 since he was roasted on D, Hill 0-3. Other than Pat going 6-8 and 2-3 from deep, everyone else was hilariously awful that game. 3-23 on threes for everyone besides Pat and Giannis. One total non-Giannis trip to the free throw line before TA got two in garbage time.

That game was traumatizing and I've blocked most of it from memory. Hurts worse than Toronto game 3 for me. I hate even thinking about it.

Agreed. They win that game. They win the title. Giannis was at his absolute peak that postseason. The fact that series went seven when the only help he got was Pat shooting okay and Jrue making one defensive play on Smart is an all time carry job. While his coach allowed the opponent to have corner three shooting practice the whole series.

Knicks were also poor at MSG in the previous series.

Yep. I spent good money to take my kids to that game. And then afterwards we had the panic on Water Street with the shootings as we all were leaving Fiserv. It just sucked.
