My favorite Warren Zevon song:

(it's called "empty hearted town")

Top five Tony Sly songs. Yesterday was sad.

I'm glad he got his day the punk rock museum.

Lolla crowd knew the words to every Olivia Rodrigo song. Korn?...not so much. They sound awesome, though.

They are...how you say...underwhelming live. But that was 30 years ago. This Oasis looks and sounds different, which is odd to me, because I'd assume with age comes reduction in Liam's (and Noel's) voice(s). They don't run around on stage. They just sorta sit there. But when Liams puts his arm behind his back and waddles up to the mic from below to belt out "Hello, Hello, It's good to be back, it's good to be back" I'm gonna lose my **** like a 14 year old again.

So how was the Rose Bowl gig? I listened to Bill Burr talk about it on his podcast. He seemed to really enjoy it and you can tell he's a pretty casual fan.

We did make it to Chicago and we were all pretty blown away by the experience. They sounded so great and I could not believe how loud it was. Going out for dinner before the show and out to eat in the morning and I was just in awe of how much Oasis merchandise you saw in every part of the city. I just can't recall a band's fans taking over a city like that. It was a perfect day: the second we pulled into the hotel the news broke about the Packers getting Parsons. By the time we got to Solider Field it was 65 degrees with a slight breeze.

It was weird, I was legitimately depressed for like 3 days after the show because it was over and I cannot fathom that they'll never tour near me again but it does seem to be a possibility.

Can't believe I've gotten to the point where I had to google how to get downloaded music onto my device. I don't think I've done it in at least 10 years.

Yes! I heard Chicago was amazing and was excited after I saw all the clips online from that show. Oasis fans show out!

It was...biblical. Pasadena was not prepared for the onslaught of people. Bars were packed, and the one we were at ran out of some beer. And it was HOT. But it was pretty amazing to walk down the street and sing any lyric and someone would either turn around and cheer or sing along. Vibes were all love, which leads to the show...

I 100%, agree, they sounded amazing and it was so LOUD. The experience felt cathartic. We were in about row 20, left of the stage. Sun down and it was 70- degrees. **** in the Bushes came on and I was excited. Gen pop started bouncing when they started Hello. Then when Liam started in on, "I don't feel as if I know you", I lost my ****.

I cried during Champagne Supernova thinking about myself at 16/17, young, idealistic, so angry, and how much that music (and West Coast gangster rap) gave me an outlet and words that matched my feelings. I was also with 2 of my oldest friends that I've known since grade school and my wife. My voice and ears were trashed by the end of that show. And yes, the come down and re-entry were no joke. It was a complete dopamin dump that I'm still recovering from.

Omg, Beta Band touring and I need to go. The summer of 90s Brit Rock refuses to end!
