Bucks backcourt, frontcourt and bench vs. the Lakers

I don't live in Milwuakee, so I don't get to see game live. I read the message boards and surf the net to stay in touch. Here are my thoughts.

Ivey- super smart pick up. He guards, moves the ball and get the notion of team ball.

Bell- rounding into shape, but not a pure PG. He tries on D but he not shooting great this year.

Redd- is hurt so I won't judge right now.

Mo- is not the PG we need. He pounds the ball. Does not defend and does set a selfish tone for this team. Regardless of age, he's hurt Yi and Bogut's development.

Simmons- he's trying. He's a physical guy.

Yi- nice shooter, will be able to dribble drive in the future. Gives effort on D. Weak near the rim but his shots and so here and there because of Mo that it is sad.

CV- A tease. Can do a lot but his biggest challenge is between the ears.

Gadz-

Ruffin- Love his hustle. Should not be allowed to shot

Bogut- He's right handed? Buffed up, nice, nice passer. Very nice left hand. Does not get enough shots.

Jake V- cheers for guys.

Overall: I'd move Mo. I'd move CV (Yi has more upside, far more upside physically and mentally). I'd move Gadz, Bobby and Bell for the right piece. We have no starting SF. I do like Ivey, Ruffin and Jake. For me, our biggest issue is Mo pounding the ball and giving NO effort on D. This team, when moving the ball would be solid on offense. Redd, again hurt right now so I can't judge what he does.

We are not going far this year but need to establish a core with a willing passing PG. Let CLEV, MEM, O-town, SAC, someone else take Mo. Mo is sucking the offensive flow out of this team, that's an issue when you are talking about your starting PG. He seems like a nice guy, and maybe his role is to pass right now with Redd out but we have problems.

Mo has been carrying this team lately. Trading him would be moronic.

I could be off, again, I don't get to see many Bucks games. But we don't play or defend like a team.

We have too many possessions with one pass and a shot.

Mo is letting Laker PGs blow by them.

Who takes the shots. Too many shots by guards not enough by or 5 or 4. To see what can happen when this happens see the Lakers this year vs. last year.

We have no SF.

We need another BIG in the post.
