MY point is maybe Kirk can't handle guarding PGs.

The Bulls do have other players, but much like our Mo situation, they need to give Gordon minutes. He is too good offensively too leave on the bench but his size hurts you. It forces you to move Hinrich on the SG. For the record though, both these players are better defenders than either of our G's.

I have watched a fair amount of Hinrich and absolutely believe that he can defend the opposing PG. He will struggle a little against the super quick maybe, but he is quite a nice defender.

It will make us deep possibly too deep where playing time might be a issue

It makes us too deep?

We would still only have Hinrich, Redd and Bogut as guys I actually consider average/above average starters at their positions

Hinrich is struggling this season, but I still think he is a better PG than Mo Williams.. and I would love to see him as our starter.

I've always felt that Hinrich is fairly average for the total package of what he brings on the offensive end as a PG, but he's so much a better defender than Mo it's like comparing Bruce Bowen to Redd defensively.

Given i've been tired of the bad defense on this team for years, i'd love to finally have a guard that defends. Bulls say no to this though.
