Bucks just need to be patient

Things are not going great right now. It's really not a huge suprise. The core players are very young for their positions and a couple of what Harris thought would be core players are not panning out (Simmons/Gadz). Youth and bad contracts are too hard to overcome right now.

We are counting on Simmons and Gadz to be key contributors. They are playing awfull. Bogut, Yi and Mo are all good, improving young players but it's going to be a year or two before they are ready to be the core of a legit team.

This team is young, they are growing. Bobby and Gadz are not forever. Eventually their contracts will expire and in their places will be Bogut and Yi in their prime. At that time, IF Harris can draft well and not make any more big, expensive mistakes, this team can be a competitor. As for now, they're too young and too commited to bad players. Just relax, you have to ride this out. Harris screwed up.

In my opinion, Bobby has been playing a lot better. He is exactly the type of player we need at the 3, with a Redd, Yi, and Bogut big 3. Especially with Ivey and Bell as our point guards. Gadz just needs a change of scenary, and we need the cap relief to resign Bogut.

Idk, I think if there is a team that would want mo or redd bad enough to also take on bobby and gadz while offering us some quality players and expiring contracts I'd do it.

I think subtracting those two turds out and getting a solid team guy with some talent to replace either redd or mo would make the bucks a much better team in the years to come.

Look at the Bucks history. Since 1991 they've won more than 42 games once. Their arena lease will be up and they rank at the bottom of interest among local teams in Wisconsin. Do you honestly think they would dare ask their fans to be patient right now? Whether or not they admit it or not, this organization is in "win now" mode.

Yeah, I can't think of a single SF in the league I'd rather have right now than Simmons at 9 million.

Unfortunately it might be too late for him to warrant all-star consideration but his 9.7/5.2 on 43% shooting in January at least get his name into the conversation.
