Please let the Randolph trade thing die. It'd be nearly impossible to be supportive of such a team.

I like Al Jefferson much better than Zach Randolph....much better.

But, I do think you've got an interesting point here, because I'm not a fan of Jefferson either. He is another "20/10" guy who really isn't an impact player whatsover and gets some of his points by virtue of getting big minutes on a crappy team.
How can you be a 20/10 player on this Bucks team and not be a factor? That has to be the most nutty comment I have ever read in here...
Forgive me you have your right to say it, but that is plain silly. Who in the world averages 20/10 and is not an impact player for his team?

 Who???????????????? No seriously, I am just curious...who?

That is not the players fault that is the GM and Owners fault and the coach for not surrounding players around a guy who is capable of that to win some games!

DON'T BLAME THAT PLAYER, if even such a player even exist!

Gadz barely plays. Randolph is replacing CV here and that is a wash defensively - if anything, give Randolph the edge as he is a much better rebounder.

His rebounding has zero to do with his defensive abilities.

Aside from Sim's super-sub idea there are no circumstances in which I'd consider Zach Randolph a good fit for this team. I've posted a tonne of statistics and such to show why, I'm yet to see anything to even remotely convince me otherwise aside from a bunch of people thinking this is NBA Live and trading for a 20/10 guy who averages 16/10 would mean he'd get the same stats with no detriment to anyone else on the team.

Stats dont mean jack snit here! You do not always trade for numbers. I told you this before! Take those stats and shove them aside...

Those are irrelevant right now. You need a thread in the low block to help Bogut. I am more convinced of that now after the Warriors game then I was yesterday.

Sometimes philosophically as a team you trade for an attitude, a style of play, size, a threat, a balance, a energy NOT STATS!

You can debate this all you want, this trade is a no-brainer. The Bucks will never win with either Redd NOR BOGUT...no matter as well he is playing as your two top players!

Lets not get too excited here with Bogut....YOU NOT GONNA WIN WITH BOGUT EITHER EVEN IF HE DOES GET 20 TOUCHES...if you do not have another slasher at SF and a setup PG and a legitimate PF!!!

Dont get this twisted! I told you the deal to do if it is availible is either Randolph or Ron Artest and a package from Sacramento.

Yi need to go to the bench and so does Mo or put them both up on the trade block!

Hell no, I want him starting at PF so we could put Yi on the bench where he belongs.
Superfito...

Absolutely...Yi is not an NBA starter! He can't even hold the damn ball in traffic, nor put it down for a power dribble!

He does things well but he is the perfect backup role player at this stage of his career until he bulks up and learns the pace and physicality of the NBA game.

They do not foul in China nor are they real strong and are more finesse.
Bogut has trouble too with the ball on the ground...and fumbles it alot.

But that is the Bucks' problem as well. They have players on this team who start who are better suited coming off the bench.

MMBOT:

You make my point!

Do you think that Portland would be better off if they had kept Zach Randolph and is 20/10 on their team?

The Blazers young team improved immeasurably, in part, by getting rid of Randolph and his 20/10.

And Zach Randolph is the answer??? A guy who is 23rd in the league in turnovers...Averaging 2.9 a game and 4.4 per 48 minutes. Yi is averaging 1.6 and 2.7 per 48. Thats 119th in the league! Yi does have to work on some things but he is not causing that many turnovers.

Not to mention that Zach Randolph is not coming here anyway and this argument has now become irrelevant.
