Zone defense

Why do Bucks continue to play Zone. Can someone please come to the realization that these group players can't grasp the concept of switching and helping out. I've never seen opposing teams have so much time to take a three than bucks opponents. Play man to man. I thought last years D was bad but this years defense is pathetic. Get some players who just don't talk about playing Defense but actually have the heart and committment to play it. this teanm is content to trade baskets and hope opposing player misses a three. Watching Bucks maks me ill.

You should re-name this thread to "Coach K's matador defense".

WHY do we switch on everything?

Do we realize that we give then ANY matchup on the floor that they want?

I saw Ivey in the post on Amare several times tonight. I saw Yi on Nash on the perimeter several times tonight. It made NO SENSE.

I wish other teams would play this defense on us.

The switching on every pick thing is really unnerving to watch.

Last year Stotts played Zone alot as well and it also failed miserably with many of thse same players. Are they afraid that their too slow to keep up and will get beat off dribble. All opponents need to do is drive towards hoop and dish to waiting guy planted at three pt line for an eternity to hit basket. Happens every game so often that its a damn shame.
