A few quotes from Paschke that I found interesting:

This is the point have I been trying to make all season long. It isn't Mike's team and it isn't Bogut's team. We have a lot of adjusting to do and it's going to take more time than one season (or in this case half a season) to get where we want to be.. By giving ourselves more weapons we are a better team in the end. We haven't had more than 1 or 2 weapons since the Big Dog, Allen and Cassell days. It's an adjustment and we are going to need patience.

I look at it more as adding offensive weapons and balance. It is taking some adjustment to move from a Michael Redd dominant offense to an inside-outside offense. I believe it will come. I don

He answered the HD question. They only have in their dollar budget enough money this year to do 25 games.

I see.....which get picked.....

There I'd guess the ones that get picked are the ones where the charge to use the HD equipment is the cheapest. If HD equipment is cheap for a night in Detroit...voila...and HD game in Detroit.

I'd also guess how much the satellite uplink cost for an HD feed is during certain days and times from different venues also is a big part of the cost.

Maybe someone here knows whether or not the HD cameras at the BC are there permanently or must be leased and brought in on a game by game basis?

I agree with Paschke that it is a process to totally revamp an offense that has been geared so heavily around Redd for so long. I disagree with him when he says the strength of this team is its depth. That's been easily the greatest weakness this team has had this season.

Before the season many believed that we were at least 2 deep at every position.. but that thought process was very much dependent on everyone playing to their potential and accepting their role. Since that hasn't been happening we have no depth whatsoever, and unproductive players at almost every backup position. Charlie Bell is starting to turn things around a bit.. but he's pretty much the only one. I am not discounting Ivey, because he has been contributing pretty well but I am more concerned with the inconsistent contributions rather than the occasional that we have been getting.
