Since it's trade season, seems like everyone is trying to figure out if something is going on. Thought I would post this from the ajc.com even though it's non-specific and doesn't mention any particular deal. I agree that I could see Atlanta trying to do something, but with who?

Silence speaks louder than words to me, especially when it comes to the NBA trade rumor mill. And since that thing churns with more misinformation than Hollywood gossip, now would be a perfect time for us to enter the fray with an item or two.

Kidd--The Nets are five games under .500 with Kidd, Carter and Jefferson

Paul--How shocking that one of the best younger players in the game would make us better. Ya think maybe Bosh or Boozer would make us better instead of Yi/CV? Could it be possible if we'd be a lot better if we had Marion or Anthony at SF instead of Simmons? This is a crazy thought, but the Bucks just might be quite a bit better if we had Kobe or Wade at SG.

Williams--See above about Paul

Nash--Way to go out on a limb there Press, the MVP and best PG in the game would make the Bucks alot better. I'll also throw out a wild idea so bear with me, Tim Duncan at PF instead of Yi just might help the Bucks win a bunch more games and gasp, a playoff berth.

So hey Press, since we agree on this outside the box idea that an elite player could help the Bucks win more games, we should email Harris immediately and let him know about our findings so he can go and trade for Paul, Williams, or Nash.

Bam, then it's playoff basketball again in Milwaukee.

I would remind you of RIF....Reading is Fundamental......read the whole thread and you would see my response was in response to Luke Pliska who a few entries above said the Bucks WOULD NOT be much better at all if they had Chris Paul, Nash, etc, etc.

Now, if you guys think we wouldn't even have a winning record or be a playoff team if we added Nash or Chris Paul, you need to argue that with Pliska.

Here's what Pliska said:

LukePliska wrote:Trade Mo for Kidd, Paul, Williams, Parker, Nash or Kidd and this team isn't that much better than it is right now, certainly not a playoff team IMO.

I forgot even making that post, but looking back at it and even though i hadn't seen Luke's post, it was still in a pretty rude tone by me and there was no reason for me to do so in your direction

My apologies Press

I guess I really don't know what to say about my opinion that those guys wouldn't make us anything special.

Obviously they make us better, but I still don't think we'd be a playoff team.

It doesn't fix our horrible defense and getting a few more open looks for guys like Bobby Simmons, Charlie V, Yi, Bell, Ivey and Mason doesn't exactly make me think they are going to magically become good players.

Obviously getting those guys would be a major step forward in trying to get better... But it wouldn't just automatically make us a contender.

Thanks Dude.....I can take the heavy heat from you if you are telling me Andre Miller wouldn't make a difference here.....I was just confused as to getting hammered on the other post.

Luke P......I really think any of those elite PG's would make a big difference on this team (Nash, Kidd, Paul, etc)

Being a playoff team isn't saying much in the East. I'd guess we'll only miss the playoffs by a few games in the standings, so I'm not sure how a guy like Nash or Paul doesn't easily put you over the hump. They might not make us title contenders, but a playoff team? Definitely.

Of course they would. If our PG can menage Redd-Bogut situation that alone would be BIG help for this team. Right now we don't have that kind of PG and therefore we see Bogut and Redd going on and off in waves. We have talented team without any doubt. But chemistry and organisation of roles are in big mess. This is army without comander.

Yeah we really need a guy who can blend all of these talents together.. but I just don't see a special player like that being given away by any team in the league.

Marvin and Redd on the same team for me does not work, have three or more players who can average over 20pts a game does not work

Look back at Golden State with Run TMC great to watch but do win.

Marvin Williams just had a career high tonight with 33 points and 7 rebounds in a win.
