The rest of the season...

Post#1 » by thakfu » Sun Jan 27, 2008 1:21 am

Anyone who listens to the Bucks on the radio knows that TD has been harping on the fact that we've played more road games then anyone to this point and we have 22 of our last 38 games at home. This includes 2 stretches where we dont leave town for 2 weeks!

I bring this up because Im starting to wonder if there really are changes coming, or if people inside the organization are pointing at this as hope for this team. We're sitting 1 1/2 games out of the playoffs and we play the majority of our remaining schedule at home. For as bad as we are, and as bad as we play at times we arent THAT far below .500. "Why blow the team up? Why risk screwing things up when we are this close?"

Obviously Im not too optimistic about this season, easy finish or not, and I know alot of people here arent either. But does anyone potentially see this mindset within the organization? Harris himself said he's disappointed in the team but believes they will make the playoffs. This really scares me. I really dont want this organization to stand pat right now. This team is bound for the lottery or a first round exit. Same as always. It's time for some progress.

Thoughts?

I know Kohl isn't happy with 10-12,000 butts in the seats. But at this point there isn't many moves he could make that would change that. Only winning can change that and that isn't going to happen this season.
