Small ERSAN ILYASOVA Update

Post#1 » by oshmeehan » Sun Jan 27, 2008 1:46 am

He has been playing a bit better of late (past 3-4 weeks/about 8 games or so)

4 of his last 5 games in Euroleague play

8 pts, 5 boards (20 minutes)
10 points, 6 boards (23 minutes)
12 points, 4 boards (25 minutes)
6 points, 5 boards, 3 blocks (12 minutes)

In the ACB Spanish League (last 3 games)

5 points, 2 boards, 2 assists (10 minutes)
9 points, 4 boards (19 minutes)
Today: 12 points, 4 boards (18 minutes)

While these #'s aren't staggering, they are much improved on some of his 10 minutes a game and 0 and 2 point games

Also, here is a link to TWO Big dunks that he had in the game today against DKV Joventut (one of the top European teams)

You can see the dunks at the 1:10 mark and the 2:20 mark...they are worth a watch

That second dunk was pretty good. If he was here now, he'd be our starting 3.

Thanks, oshmeehan. That second dunk was sick!

Hopefully Ersan comes back next year,i'd take Ersan over Simmons & Dez at small forward anyday.

I been saying this forawhile but I think Ersan will eventually be one hell of an NBA player,I think he could have been this season had he stayed with the Bucks.

The thing with Ersan is that you can count on him to give you solid effort and play with a ton of heart & hustle every night and thats a hell of a lot more than we get from the lazy overweight overpaid bum who is currently our starting SF.

Not to mention Ersan has a sweet jumper and plays good defnese.
