This might work if they're trying to adress the size issue + a lottery protected pick

Millsap is a FA CV gives them an option. Vokshul/gadz gives them size behind Okur. gives them a lot of caproom to resign DW in a years time
err they don't need an iso guy. they needed a spot up shooter other than Okur an Williams to jeep the heat off Boozer. It's abot chemistry and playing a role not plgging in 20 pt scorers eveywhere (see NYK)
Would you make this Redd trade?

Korver is a great spot up shooter and that's about it. Redd can score in any fashion imaginable. I mean seriously, Redd is one of the best scorers in the leauge. he just isn't making the Bucks a better team because of it.
The sad fact is that Redd would be largely used as a spot up scorer on their team. And Korver is probably better at that skill than Redd. I really doubt that Utah has much interest in Redd.

Cleveland is option #1.....
Chicago is option #2.........
We might get hosed depending on what you think Redd is worth....but both those teams could really use the guy. In the case of Chicago, it would free them up to trade Ben Gordon to us or some other team and not deal with his contract headaches.
And let's not forget Isiah.....Redd/CV for Crawford/David Lee works all day long and might for Isiah as well.....

I would think that Jerry Sloan would find a way to utilize Redd's skills. But if Sloan turned Redd into nothing but a jump shooter, than I agree, Kover is better at that therefore no need for Redd. I just don't know enough about the Jazz to claim one way or the other.

Redd/CV for Crawford/Lee doesn't work. You would have to add Malik Rose in all likelyhood.

I would do that. Crawford's contract actually looks fairly reasonable.

I don't think Jazz would make that trade. Kirilenko has been balling well, of late. Maybe he has finally settled into his past rhythm. And for all Brewer's apparent lack of D, Sloan must really think he has potential, cos he keeps starting him (rare for a young player for Sloan). So I doubt they would want to trade Ronnie either.
Someone mentioned a trade for Crawford and Lee. Again, that would be great for the Bucks, but Isiah no way will trade Lee or Jamal. He already is public enemy number 1 with the fans, trading Lee and this year's best performer Crawford would pretty much guarantee a slew of death threats. I don't think Isiah wants death threats.

On pure value this is a good trade, but what really won me over was that we would get rid of Redd. He'd be away from Mo, and it would mean more touches for Bogut.
I'm not sure if Utah would do it either, but who cares what China thinks? Yi is under contract and isn't going anywhere. It would be in the best interests of this team if AK would start over Yi because Yi is still raw. His low-post game is still underdeveloped, he's not a great rebounder (yet, at least), and just isn't a great post defender. If Yi emerges then we'd trade AK again. Even if it would mean dumping him for crap.
But, even though Yi should be benched, I actually think we should put AK at SF if we get him. I'm done watching Bobby Simmons play SF. And Desmond Mason isn't the answer either.
Actually, AK is regarded as a better PF than he is as a SF. For a while I argued that we should trade for AK and have him start at SF, but trust me, he can play PF too.
But again, if we acquire AK then we should put him at SF.

None of this matters because Utah already has Kyle Korver, why would they trade for Redd?
A better trade would trying to get AK47 for CV, Simmons, and a 1st.
Mo/Ivey
Redd/Bell
AK47/Mason
Yi/Ruffin
Bogut/Voskul/Gadz
