Would a trade be better for both Bogut and the Bucks?

That's not really true. It's more than possible the Bucks add another lotto pick to their roster this offseason, as well as another 2nd round pick.

The Bucks are one trade away from being much better, plus add some picks and they'll be okay.

The big part is obviously that Bogut must continue to improve. Yi will get much better and if they had a legit SF, the team would be much different.

I think the only reason Bogut resigns here is because he likes the small town feel and he already has his house in order. Bogut doesn't seem like the kind of guy to move everything into a new city and start over. Plus he'll be getting a ton of money from us.

Yeah that's a good point that hasn't been discussed here a lot. I expect they'll just offer him the max extension and he'll take it, but it'd be interesting if he uses the opportunity to ask for any changes. I couldn't blame him if he held off on the contract pending any improvement in the team, but I'm guessing they'll pay him well enough.

Bogut wants to win. If nothing changes or improves I would guess that he would move on. Bogut is definately the kind of guy to move cities. Afterall he moved a whole country. What's a city within a country.

My God, Bogut is Superman. He can move cities and whole countries. You would have thought he could move his man on his hip a bit better, if he can move cities and countries. Can God make an object so heavy that even Andrew can't move?

Trade the 1 guy that actually has trade value due to a low salary? Willingly?

What do you expect to get back in return?

I'd trade Mason to Minn for Jaric

Trade Simmons/CV/08 1st pick/10' 1st pick to NJ for Jefferson

Voskuhl/Noel/08 2nd rd pick to Philly for Evans

Jaric/Ivey/Sessions
Redd/Mo
Jefferson/Bell/Storey
Evans/Yi
Bogut/DG

Melt faces on the way to playoffs.

Now we are just throwing together trades with multiple first round picks after seeing what went down last night with Gasol. Just remember the lakers traded away what would be two late first round picks. Ours would be much higher. Also, did you know that the Bucks are one of the teams if not THE team with the least amount of first round picks on our roster? Do you know why? Because we traded them so many years in a row. You can see how that eventually catches up with you. I think NJ is ready to tank for a couple years before they move into their new stadium in Brooklyn in 2010.

That said, that trade is way too much to give up for Jefferson with those 2 first rounders. I would do it with one of them, but even still, Jefferson gets injured a ton, and I'm still not sure he makes our team great.
