there's nothing wrong with getting excited about one of the best players in the d-league. no one honestly believes we've got the next chris paul, but we're justifiably a lot more excited about his potential than when he was drafted late in the second round.

really? a bunch of people who have never actually seen him play?

surely you jest

I have seen Ramon a bunch and like I said before he will make a nice NBA player. However he isnt a savior by any mena s and probably will struggle to score in the NBA. He does though become our second best post passer behind Bobby Simmons...

Doubt he even becomes the 9th or 10th.

People around here are acting like Brewer fans did when they called up Ryan Braun. Except Brewer fans at least had a legit reason to be excited.

Here are the D-League stats from last year at this time. When even one of these guys makes any sort of impact on the NBA, be sure to let me know.

Hell, I looked through stats from the last four years in the NBDL. I don't know if ANY of the guards I saw mentioned ever had more than a cup of coffee in the NBA.

But whatever. This guy has a bandwagon. I'm sure he'll be the exception to the rule.

i agree with everyone know talks about how Andre Barret has been dominating the NBADL for years and cannot make any impact in the nba...\

But we atleast have to give Ramon a shot.....20/7/6 is pretty good....no other guard puts those stats up.

Hello, Nevada fan here(Sessions' alma mater), I really hope he does well. It sounds like you are all very positive and I hope he doesn't disappoint. I think he should do very well for you, we could sure use him right now.

Welcome. Can you tell us a bit about Sessions in college? I assume you watched him a lot closer than most of us on here.

Ditto. I'm more interested in him than the whole Yi/Yao.

Sessions really is a passing pg, although he can score when necessary. He makes everyone around him better. He really is a leader, and a great floor general, we miss that aspect very much this year. Although the NBA is completely different, I think he has all the tools to be successful. He is also a solid defensive player.

His main downfall will be that he may have trouble scoring in the NBA. His stats in the summer league weren't that great were they? Is the D-league that much less competitive.

Good luck for the rest of the season.
