Whats baffling to me as an outsider, I thought the bucks were going to be serious contenders in the east with all the injured people coming back from Injury. You have talented people at all positions.. This team is not in rebuilding mode... yet it treats the development of Yi as if winning isn't a priority

My thoughts exactly. On the one hand we've got coaches and management still talking about playoffs for this team, and on the other hand we've got a rookie PF who's playing like crap still starting like we're tanking, when we've got a (currently) better replacement sitting on the bench watching. You'd think we've been tanking for the past 6 weeks with their handling of Yi, if we were tanking I could understand it.

Boo freaking hoo. It's called being a pro and doing your job. For the money that he makes, he gets no sympathy from me and many others.

CV was in the running for ROY, just like 5-6 other guys were that season and every season as well. And he has never scored over 50 in a game, but thanks for the exaggeration.

CV had a career high against the Bucks which is like 25 points against a normal team.

I wouldn't extend that far, personally. All signs point to Yi being a better player, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that there is absolutely no doubt this will happen. CV could break out and keep rolling and Yi could be a perennial 7/5 guy for all we know.

Yea 200 million people witnessed and laughed their arse off because the "better player" is gonna sit his arse on the bench for the rest of his career.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Yi might not be deserving to start, but CV is far from deserving as well.

The guy only averaged 10, 5 and 1 with horrible D and poor shooting for the month of January. The same month everyone seems to be saying he's been playing good.

Yi during the same month has gotten 7, 5, and 1 with horrible shooting and poor D.

Is CV outplaying him? Yes, but it's by such a miniscule amount that does it really matter?
