Mil-Sea trade proposal

Post#1 » by FutureBuck2008 » Mon Feb 4, 2008 9:17 am

i think this trade would be good for both teams:

Milwaukee gets

Delonte West pg
Wally Szczerbiak sf
Kurt Thomas pf
Damien Wilkins Sf

Seattle gets

Mo Williams pg
Bobby Simmons sf
Charlie Villanueva pf
Dan Gadzuric c

For one thing, milwaukee doesn't lose any scoring but improves their 'D' with the additions of thomas, wilkins, and west. thomas also improves our rebounding which is sorely lacking. szczerbiak is not really a good defender but would be an expiring contract and we would get rid of the contracts of gadzuric and simmons. seattle gets a much better pg and give them another scoring option other than kevin durant. charlie villanueva has the skills to be a solid PF but i think his time might have run out in milwaukee. maybe a change of scenery and maybe more playing time in seattle will help him improve. he gives seattle another scoring threat as well.

so all in all i think this would be a good and fair trade for both teams. your thoughts?

The Bucks give up way too much for what they're getting back.

I can't see Seattle taking on all that salary.

Krt thomas is the only guy I like and see as having a significant impact. But he's a UFA at the end of the season, so I'd just go after him in the offseason
