and then win the rest of their games. Unless they pull things together they're going to end up in the 7-10 range like last year and have a really tough 1st round game.

Prior to yesterday's game I had them as a 5 seed based on their resume and with the assumption that they'd get a few more quality wins in conference and in the BE tournament. I think as long as they do respectable in the BE tournament they'll definitely have a shot at a 5, their rpi is 17 at the moment and a strong finish will look good on the committee. I'm not a Marquette fan though, so if they struggle down the stretch it'll be perfectly alright by me, but I see them doing enough to secure a respectable position in March.

That's the key. Your last 10 games are looked a heavily by the committee.
